This is a hand dyed 8mm, flat crepe silk scarf. Be creative and wrap

world. I create scarves one at a time!
Ice dying is a technique that gives beautiful, saturated or pastel colors and interesting textures. It is somewhat unpredictable and has different effects on different materials. This silk scarf is made using that technique. It features saturated earth tones of gold, orange, rust, coral, and olive green. With this technique the dyes can separate and make small areas of other colors. The smaller areas of color include blues and pale lavender, deep burgundy and others. Little splashes of the white silk add texture and sparkle.. Photos simply do not reveal the amazing combination of texture and color!
Flat crepe is a type of Crepe weave that is flatter on the surface, making it smoother than Crepe, shinier than China Silk or Habotai but not as shiny as Satin. Very silky smooth to the touch. Featuring classic, hand rolled hems. 34.0" x 35.0"
This scarf is hand washable. Iron on a silk setting.
